Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Waterproofing Systems in Southington, CT

A homeowner in Southington had existing sump pumps in their basement that were not working properly, as they were still getting water in the basement. They called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to fix this issue and provide a permanent waterproofing solution. One of our Salesmen, Mick Foster, met with the customer in their home to assess the issues in the basement and give them an estimate for a project that our crews would install. One of our Foremen, Delfino Mones, and his crew tackled this job. They installed our WaterGuard drainage system to collect water coming in from the floors and walls. Then they installed two of our TripleSafe sump pumps in separate basement areas. These will take the collected water and pump it out of the home at a safe distance. With these systems, this basement will now stay dry!

This basement had an existing sump pump that was not running properly and water was still a problem, so this homeowner needed a proper system.

TripleSafe Sump Pump

Our crew installed one of our TripleSafe sump pumps to take collected water from the drainage system below and pump it out of the home at a safe distance. TripleSafes uses 3 pumps; a primary, a secondary, and a batter backup that can pump out 11,500 gallons on a full charge.

WaterGuard Drainage System

Our crew installed WaterGuard drains below the floor around the entire perimeter of the basement. They do this by jackhammering into the floor, laying down the drains, and then covering them with new concrete to be flush with the original floor. These drains will collect water coming in from below the floor or through the walls and then direct it to the sump pumps.
