A homeowner in Southington, CT was getting water in their basement so they called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to have us solve their problems. After scheduling an appointment, one of our Sales Consultants, Jorge Tomas, went out to the home to assess the issues and provide a proper solution. Then it would soon be time for one of our Foremen, Al Guglielmoni, and his crew to work on this project. They installed a TripleSafe sump pump along with a WaterGuard drain system to collect and pump out any water that may come into the basement. The TripleSafe works with three pumps, one that runs on a battery backup, to ensure that any water will get pumped out when it reaches a certain level. The WaterGuard is installed below the floor along the perimeter to ensure that any water coming from the walls or floors will get directed into the drain and then run into the sump pump. Now this basement is protected from any future water damage and any water that does come in will get pumped out of the home at a safe distance.
