Moldy Walls
The mold on these walls is a result of humidity in the basement. While some products can get rid of existing mold, it will continue to reappear unless the source of the problem is eliminated: a wet basement.
Leaking Crack
This crack in the foundation wall was letting water pour into this home, causing problems like mold and humidity in the basement. To stop this, we covered the walls with out BrightWall panels. BrightWall keeps humidity and water vapor from passing through your foundation walls and into your basement.
Wet Entranceway
Water used to seep into the basement through the hatchway and then pool on the floor of this basement. To capture water before it can enter the basement, we installed the TrenchDrain in front of the door. The TrenchDrain is a grated drainage system that catches water as it flows across it, and redirects the water to the sump pump system to be pumped out of the house.
Leaking Basement Windows
Metal basement windows can rust, and when they do, water will flow into the house. We replaced these out-of-date windows with our EverLast windows. The EverLast windows are energy-efficient, vinyl-framed replacement windows. Designed with double-paned, low-E glass, they are much more energy efficient than the single-paned, steel-framed windows that are the industry standard, and they will never rust.
TripleSafe Sump Pump
To pump water out of the basement, we installed the SuperSump sump system. Our most effective system, the TripleSafe contains a powerful, cast-iron Zoeller ⅓ horsepower sump pump set at the lowest level. For heavy volumes of water or in case of primary pump failure, a second, more powerful Zoeller ½ horsepower pump set a bit higher in the liner, will take over. In case of a power outage, a backup battery pump will start.
BrightWall
These BrightWall panels are durable, washable, and will not support the growth of mold or rot. They are washable and long lasting, and have the added benefit of redirecting any water seepage through the walls into the drainage system.
