Damaged Drywall
The water flowing into the basement through the wall-floor joint severely damaged the drywall in this home, necessitating its removal. To stop water from entering the basement and causing damage like this in the future, we installed our WaterGuard system. This French drain rests below the floor slab around the perimeter of the basement, collecting water that flows from both the floor and walls.
Moldy Wall
Mold was growing on the drywall above the wall-floor joint as a result of excess moisture in the home. By properly draining any water that flows in with a combination of our drainage lines and sump pump, it's easy to achieve a dry basement.
Wet Basement
Standing water in the basement can evaporate and cause mold problems. One way to solve this problem is by installing a covered sump pump. An airtight lid, like the one on our SuperSump sump pump, keeps odors and humidity contained, while protecting your sump from debris from the basement floor.
