First Step: Excavation
In order to install a WaterGuard system, the perimeter of the basement floor needs to be excavated.
WaterGuard System Installation
Once the perimeter is excavated, the area is back filled with gravel and the WaterGuard is placed. When the system is all set, the are is sealed back up with cement. This system will collect water internally before it can reach the surface of the basement.
SaniDry Sedona and TripleSafe
Once the water is collected, it is channeled to the sump pump, pictured here. The water will then be discharged away from the home. A SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier is also placed to keep humidity below 55% in the basement.
CleanSpace Liner Installed on the Walls
In this photo, you can see that the WaterGuard system was installed by the wet cement around the perimeter of the floor. Also, you can see that ClwanSpace wall liner was installed to prevent moisture from seeping through the walls. It also gives the basement a clean, finished look!
