The hatchway stairs leading into this church basement in Somersville, CT were allowing water to enter the area, making it sometimes unusable. To prevent this in the future, we installed our trench drain at the base of the stairs. This open grated drain collects any water that would otherwise enter the basement. It is connected to the perimeter drainage system, and the water is directed out of the basement.
