Solution
After our basement waterproofing expert Ken came out and addressed the water, mold, and crumbling foundation problems, we sent out our expert foreman to begin the job so this basement would be on the road to success!
For those moldy, wet walls we installed our CleanSpace plastic wall vapor barrier. The great thing about this product is that it is 100% waterproof, and comes with a 25 year fully transferable warranty. This will help prevent future mold growth, and give the basement a nice, clean feel. We installed our WaterGuard, and TrenchDrain French Drain System to rid all of the water flowing in from the walls and floors. These are exclusive to Basement Systems; they are a patented drain system installed just above the foundation footing to prevent any clogging from happening. The water that travels through this drain is flowed into our TripleSafe Sump Pump, which is also the only one of its kind. Our patented sump pump has 3 pumps that do all the work so that you can be at ease! The first pump is capable of pumping 2,220 gallons of water per hour. The second pump will automatically turn on and propel water at 3,900 gallons of water per hour if the first pump is overrun. The third pump works at a crazy 11,500 gallons of water per hour, that is half the size of an Olympic swimming pool! The awesome thing about this system is that our sump pump operates off its own back up battery. So if the power were to go out, our pump will automatically keep going so you don’t have to turn it on, unlike most sump pumps where you have to physically go turn on the generator yourself. This basement not only looks sterile and ready-to-use, but it will withstand the test of time, allowing the homeowner to take full advantage of their space.
