Photo Album: Basement Waterproofing Systems in New Canaan, CT

A homeowner in New Canaan, CT was getting water seepage in their basement and needed a proper solution, so they called us at Connecticut Basement Systems. We sent out one of our Sales Consultants, Steven Godbout, to assess the problems and propose a waterproofing system that would eliminate these issues for good! Eventually, it would be time for our installation crew to come in. Our Foreman, Moises Chantes, and his team began installing our WaterGuard drainage system. Then they installed our TripleSafe sump pump and finished with a Sedona dehumidifier. These systems will work together to keep the basement dry, ensuring no moisture or water is present.

Before Sump Pump Installation

This basement was getting water seepage in many areas, but this specific spot would be where our crew would install our TripleSafe sump pump.

TripleSafe

The TripleSafe uses 3 pumps; a primary, a secondary, and an UltraSump battery backup that can pump over 11,000 gallons on a full charge. Discharge lines are installed so that when the water is pumped out, it is far enough away from the home.

WaterGuard

Our WaterGuard drainage system gets installed by jackhammering the floor, laying down the drains, and then covering them with new concrete. There is a flange up against the wall so that water coming in from the walls can go directly into the drains below. They are installed around the entire perimeter of the basement.

TrenchDrain

This is installed to stop flooding and large amounts of water that many come in through the basement entrance. It leads directly into the WaterGuard below.
