A homeowner in Hamden had water coming into their basement through the walls and floors and called us at Connecticut Basement Systems to have us solve this problem! One of our Sales Consultants, Matt Kraus, went out to the home to walk through their basement, assess the issues, and provide them with a solution for work that we would install.
One of our Foremen, Krzysztof Wilk, and his crew would install this project. They would install our WaterGuard drainage system, our SuperSump plus sump pump with a battery backup, and our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. These products will work together to collect any water/moisture coming in, and then pump it out of the home at a safe distance through a proper discharge line. This will give the homeowner peace of mind, knowing their basement will stay dry!
Before Waterproofing
This would be where our sump pump would get installed. This homeowner was getting water seepage through the walls and floors.
SuperSump Plus
Our crew installed our WaterGuard drainage system along with one of our SuperSump plus sump pumps. They installed a battery backup pump with it as well that can pump out 11,500 gallons on a full charge.
WaterGuard
Our crew installed WaterGuard drains below the floor around the entire perimeter of this basement. This is done by jackhammering the floor, laying down the drains, and then covering them with new concrete to be flush with the original floor.
