The homeowners in this Hartsdale, NY home had water not only coming in through the floor but also through the walls. The homeowners were sick and tired of having to deal with the musty smell in their basement. Nothing is worse than having space in the basement and not being able to use it because of water damage. The homeowners contacted the experts at Connecticut Basement Systems to get them a dry basement. We cam in and did just that. We got rid of the water coming in through the walls and the base of it by installing our WaterGuard french drain system. Our system has a patented design that fits just above the foundation footing to prevent any clogging as opposed to where traditional systems are put in. To catch all the water that the WaterGuard was collecting we installed our TripleSafe sump pump. This sump pump not has a total of 3 pumps. The first pump turns on the moment that water comes in to the basement, and is able to pump an astonishing 2,220 gallons of water per hour. If that pump can't handle the amount coming in then the second pump turns on and is able to handle an additional 3,900 gallons of water per hour. If the power goes out however, the third pump backed up by a battery turns on and pumps out 11,500 gallons of water or half of the size of a swimming pool.  The homeowners can rest assured that they will no longer have water in their basement.
