Pet Photos with Santa
December 6th, 2021 kicked off our Annual Holiday Giving Week. Every year, CTBS and CN employees join together to make a lasting impact on the community of Seymour during the holidays. This year, the team wanted to try something new along with the typical food, clothes, and toy donations. Our regular partners around The Valley help us by sending lists of items that go to families in need. As always, CTBS made it a mission to include everybody this holiday season -- even our four legged friends!
On December 9th, as a part of our Annual Holiday Giving Week, we included one day dedicated to pet photos with Santa. Employees from all buildings brought their furry friends to Building 4 to have their photograph taken.
Cash donations of $15 were accepted and all proceeds went to Seymour C.A.R.E.S., C.A.R.E.S. (Coco’s Animal Rescue Efforts of Seymour) is a non-profit organization that helps shelter animals until they can be relocated and find forever homes. C.A.R.E.S. has adoptable pets looking for homes, and they also take donations to help take care of the animals in their shelter. More information can be found here: http://www.seymourcares.org.
Along with food donations to the Seymour Oxford Food Bank, gently used clothes to Blessings Pantry, and new toys to children for TEAM Inc., Contractor Nation and CTBS were able to raise $500 that was donated to C.A.R.E.S. -- not to mention all the adorable animal photos!
