Seymour Pink Day 2020
Connecticut Basement Systems was looking pretty in pink while supporting Seymour Pink’s annual Seymour Pink Day 2020!
Seymour Pink stands for uniting the valley, and the surrounding communities to help join in and support the fight against breast cancer. Each year, Seymour Pink teams with someone local to design a t-shirt for the fundraiser in which the proceeds are donated to breast cancer research, as well as other methods to help spread awareness to breast cancer victims and their families.
On Wednesday, October 14th, the team wore this year’s Seymour Pink t-shirt, designed by Olivia Kick, who owes her inspiration to her grandmother. According to the Seymour Pink website, “Her grandmother is a nurse. Her grandmother always said to her, “ HOPE IS the big idea and if you don’t have hope, you don’t have anything“. Olivia said the ribbon with people walking toward it reminded her of HOPE, the hope her grandmother spoke of.”
