All Things Virtual: Convention and Home Shows!
Despite this year’s CN Live convention being the first all-virtual event that Contractor Nation has brought us, we still felt as united as ever! Our team was able to connect through our series of screens to create a convention to remember. Viewing parties took place throughout several different companies, and the hashtag #CNLIVE20 was created on social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram to capture all of the excitement. Desktops, tablets, and smartphones were all streaming the fun country-wide; several states showcased their experience, and pictures poured in from Mississippi to Massachucetts and more. Congratulations are also in order -- Connecticut Basement Systems took home two first place Dealer Awards!
While on the subject of technology, and with remote work on the rise, home shows are hopping on the virtual bandwagon! Connecticut Better Home Show and CTBS are taking this year’s home show in a different direction. The Connecticut Better Home Show: Virtual Edition is going to be an all-virtual event where vendors can set up a booth online to promote their company and products. Customers can visit these booths, and inquire via video or a text chat available for questions.
BoothCentral is an event management platform partnering with Connecticut Better Home Show to make this platform as simple as possible -- BoothCentral can be easily used by anybody wanting to take part -- no tech wizzes or fancy equipment required.
The virtual aspect will help vendors expand their audience. The people that do not typically travel to these events have a chance to take part in this different type of set-up, and even from the comfort of their own home. Products and content can be displayed easily for multiple vendors and companies at a time.
