Basement Systems Named Volunteer of the Year
Volunteer work has always been a high priority to the staff at Basement Systems. We regularly align ourselves with nonprofit organizations so that together we can work to make our community a better place. One of the groups we've worked with many times is TEAM, Inc., which is a local agency that works to combat poverty in the region and to help low-income families increase their self-sufficiency.
Last week, TEAM, Inc. named Basement Systems with the prestigious title of Volunteer of the Year. The organization said of Basement Systems, "Patient kind and giving, they are truly a great asset."
Basement Systems Vice President Mark Daconto was on hand to receive the award along with Basement Systems employee John Kay. Several other citizens and organizations were also given awards at the Volunteer Reception held at John J. Sullivan's in Ansonia, CT.
