Treehouse Open House a Huge Success
Last night, Basement Systems opened its doors to its neighbors, colleagues, press, and customers to show off the brand new Treehouse workspace! Well over 100 people enjoyed beverages and hors d'oeuvres while exploring the Treehouse and chatting with employees and volunteers.
A video featuring the making of the Treehouse played on a screen throughout the party, and Basement Systems President (and treehouse creator) Larry Janesky spoke to the crowd before everyone enjoyed the celebratory cake. William Purcell, president of the Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce, also spoke.
Guests also participated in a scavenger hunt of sorts. Each work station in the treehouse had a stack of numbered cards, and once guests collected a card from all 28 stations they were able to enter a drawing to win cash.
All in all, it was a great night! We hope everyone had as good a time as we did. It's been a long journey from Larry's inception of the project, to actually finishing the Treehouse.
Everyone in the internet department was certainly proud to show off the unique Treehouse workspace.
