Web Team Member Runs for a Good Cause

For the past 6 months, Basement Systems web guru Mike King has been training and raising money in preparation for a half marathon on behalf of the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA). On Friday, Jan. 23, Mike completed the 13.1-mile run in 2 hours and 22 minutes and came home with a medal!

The race took place in Miami, Florida. Mike's team came in third with funds raised by bringing in a total of $164,256.  Altogether, the event brought in a total of $1.6 million to battle Crohn's and Colitis.  All proceeds went directly to the CCFA.
