Record Wet Year for Connecticut

Record Wet Year for Connecticut - Image 1It's been a wet and soggy year for Connecticut residents! According to the Hartford Courant, the National Weather Service's figures have shown that 2008 was Connecticut's wettest year in 100 years.

Figures measured at Bradley International Airport had recorded over 64 inches of precipitation in 2008, beating the 1972 record.

If trends continue, the next few years may get wetter and wetter with more hurricanes, floods, snowstorms and other weather problems coming.
