Mason/Concrete Operations Lead

We are seeking a skilled and experienced poured concrete expert to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in leading others as a foreman and operating and troubleshooting a brand new, state of the art SCHWING cement pump that will be utilized for reinforcing basement walls and other concrete pouring projects. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Training on our heavy machinery will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Building and repairing walls, including both interior and exterior walls, using various materials such as concrete, bricks, concrete blocks, and stones.
• Performing formwork tasks, including setting up molds and frameworks for pouring concrete.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and construction plans to understand project specifications.
• Utilizing masonry tools and equipment effectively and safely, including mixers, saws, trowels, and levels.
• Ensuring all work meets building codes, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Providing guidance and oversight to crew members.

Skills and Qualifications:

• MUST have ability to independently operate and troubleshoot SWHING cement pump
• Experience in basement leveling, wall construction, and concrete projects preferred.
• Proficiency in using masonry tools and equipment
• Ability to operate hydraulic equipment as well as excavators
• Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Ability to process job site and perform site work
• Strong understanding of construction techniques and materials.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor tasks.
• Good communication skills and ability to train and develop a team
• Customer Service skills (internal and external )

Education and Certifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Any relevant certifications in masonry or construction would be advantageous.

Additional Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check
• Willingness to work outdoors and in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
